If you’re an Australian Apprentice, you may be eligible for payment or some extra help.
There’s information, payments and services available if you’re between 15 and 24 and becoming independent from your parents or carer.
We can help if you're an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Australian looking for work. We can also help if you want to study or train to find a job.
If you’re claiming Youth Allowance or ABSTUDY, you may need to give us your parents’ income. If their income has changed, you need to let us know.
You’ll get extra payments, if you’re getting Youth Allowance, Austudy or ABSTUDY Living Allowance.
The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and your employer will work out if their business is eligible for JobKeeper Payment. You don’t claim this payment.
You don’t need to visit a service centre to prove your identity to claim a new payment.
