If you’re an Australian Apprentice, you may be eligible for payment or some extra help.
There’s information, payments and services available if you’re between 15 and 24 and becoming independent from your parents or carer.
We can help if you're an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Australian looking for work. We can also help if you want to study or train to find a job.
We consider you independent for student payments as soon as you turn 22.
We’ve waived the waiting period for some payments until 31 December 2020.
The Australian Government announced support for Victorians who can't earn an income because they must self-isolate or quarantine at home or they are caring for someone with COVID-19.
If you live in Victoria, you can do most of your Centrelink and Medicare business online. This includes making claims for new payments.
