Family home location
Where your family home is determines if you can get a Relocation Scholarship and your payment rate in your second and third years of study.
What family home means
If you’re:
- a dependent student, it’s the current home address of your parent or guardian
- an independent student, it’s the address where you lived 6 months before you started your course.
Check if an area is rural or remote
Use the Student Regional Area Search tool to find out if your family home is in a regional, remote or city area.
You can also use this tool to check what kind of area your course campus is in.
