If you disagree with a decision
We can’t change or review decisions by your super fund or the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) if they decide not to release your super early. You’ll need to contact them.
We can’t change or review decisions if your super fund or the ATO won’t release your super because of any of the following reasons:
- you don’t get an eligible income support payment
- you haven’t been getting a payment from us for long enough
- you’ve had gaps in your payments
- you don’t meet their requirements.
If your super fund or the ATO won’t release your super early, you should contact them about the decision.
If you have feedback about the eligibility requirements for early release of superannuation in general, you can contact the Department of Treasury.
