ABSTUDY School Term Allowance
A payment to help with the cost of your Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child’s secondary schooling. They need to be living at home.
This is a payment for parents of eligible secondary students and, in some cases, parents of eligible primary students.
Your child needs to be living at home and meet other criteria to get the payment. Read about who can get it.
We pay this up to 4 times a year at the beginning of each school term.
You can get ABSTUDY School Term Allowance if you and your child both meet certain criteria.
