If you’re having a baby soon, you may get superannuation on your payment

You don’t need to claim super separately. It’s paid automatically if you get Parental Leave Pay and you’re eligible.

If you get Parental Leave Pay for a child born or adopted from 1 July 2025, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) will pay you a 12% Paid Parental Leave Superannuation Contribution.

Check your details are up to date with us and the ATO. If you’re eligible, it will be paid automatically the following financial year.
