The amount you get depends on which service you attended and where you travelled from.

The commemoration services were held on 1 October 2025 in:

  • Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
  • Bali, Indonesia.

Bali Commemoration Service

Each eligible person can get a one-off payment of $2,000 to help with travel expenses.

You must have travelled or tried to travel from a location within Australia to be eligible for this payment.
