If you earned $70,000 or less in the 2025-26 financial year, you may be eligible for free help from an ATO trained volunteer to prepare and lodge your tax return.
Tax Help volunteers can help you:
- lodge your return
- link your myGov account
- let the ATO know if you don’t need to lodge.
If you get a Centrelink payment, you may need to lodge a tax return or tell us you don't need to lodge one.
