Extended support available for Victoria Bushfires, January 2026

If you’ve been affected by this disaster, we have Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) and Disaster Recovery Allowance (DRA) to help you.

AGDRP is a lump sum payment to help you if you’ve been directly affected by this declared disaster.

AGDRP has been extended to the following areas in Towong Local Government Area (LGA):

  • Berringama
  • Bungil
  • Koetong
  • Shelley
  • Thologolong.

DRA is a short term allowance to help you if you’ve lost income as a direct result of this disaster.

You can get this payment for up to 13 weeks.

DRA has been extended to the following LGAs:

  • Benalla
  • Campaspe
  • Macedon Ranges
  • Wodonga
  • Yarra Ranges.
