Carer Allowance is a fortnightly payment if you give support and care to someone either:
- with disability
- with a medical condition
- who’s frail aged.
To be eligible for Carer Allowance, you must be providing either:
- ongoing daily care for at least 12 months
- care for someone at the end of their life.
