Confirm your family income for Child Care Subsidy by 30 June

Published: 15 May 2025

If you got Child Care Subsidy (CCS) in the 2023-24 financial year, you need to confirm your family income.

You need to confirm your family income or your CCS will stop. You’ll also have to pay full fees for any child care you use from 7 July 2025.

You can confirm your family income by either:

  • lodging a tax return for the 2023-24 financial year with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
  • letting us know you don’t need to lodge one online.

If you have a partner, or had a partner during that financial year but have separated, they’ll need to confirm their income too.
