We balance your Family Tax Benefit (FTB) after you and your partner have lodged your tax return or confirmed your income with us.
You can check the progress of your FTB balancing using your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
The status will display as either in progress or complete.
Sometimes your status may show as complete, but we may still need to check some information with the Australian Taxation Office before we tell you the outcome.
When your balancing is finalised, we’ll send you a letter.
