You need to tell us if any of the following happens:
- you change or correct your name
- your personal circumstances change
- you change your address
- your income changes
- you return to work
- you don’t need to lodge a tax return
- there are changes in care for your dependent children
- you’re leaving Australia.
How and when to tell us
You need to tell us if your circumstances change within 14 days.
You can’t tell us about any of these changes online:
- income changes
- returning to work
- that you don’t need to lodge a tax return.
To tell us about all other changes you can:
- update your circumstances online
- call us on the Centrelink Older Australians Line
- visit a service centre
To do this, sign in to myGov using the link below and select My details from the top of the page.
If you don’t have a myGov account or a Centrelink online account and want to use online services, you’ll need to create an online account.
