The care minutes supplement will only apply to non-specialised metropolitan aged care homes. It’s non-means tested and will be funded based on the percentage of total care minutes and registered nurse minutes delivered against care minute reporting targets.
The care minute supplement will be paid as part of the monthly claim cycle to eligible residential services.
You don’t need to apply for this supplement. The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing will let us know if you’re eligible.
