Additional support available for Northern Territory Flooding, February to March 2026

If you’ve been affected by this disaster, we have Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) and Disaster Recovery Allowance (DRA) to help you.

AGDRP is a lump sum payment to help you if you’ve been directly affected by this declared disaster.

AGDRP has been extended to the following areas:

  • Adelaide River in Coomalie Local Government Area (LGA)
  • Alyangula in Groote Archipelago LGA
  • Angurugu in Groote Archipelago LGA
  • Collett Creek in Coomalie LGA
  • Edith in Victoria Daly LGA
  • Fly Creek in Litchfield LGA
  • Jabiru in West Arnhem LGA
  • Nhulunbuy in East Arnhem LGA
  • Numbulwar in Roper Gulf LGA
  • Umbakumba in Groote Archipelago LGA.

DRA is a short term allowance to help you if you’ve lost income as a direct result of the disaster.

You can get this payment for up to 13 weeks.

DRA has been extended to the following areas:

  • Belyuen Local Government Area (LGA)
  • Coomalie LGA
  • Unincorporated NT excluding the locality of Yulara
  • Wagait LGA
  • West Arnhem LGA.
