Getting NASH PKI organisation certificates

Get National Authentication Services for Health (NASH) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) organisation certificates to access the Healthcare Identifier (HI) Service and My Health Record.

Before you get a National Authentication Services for Health (NASH) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate for your organisation, you need to read the PKI policy documents.

If you’re a contracted service provider you need a NASH PKI organisation certificate to access a patient’s Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) and My Health Record on behalf of a healthcare organisation.

If you’re a general supporting organisation (GSO) you may need a NASH PKI organisation certificate.

The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) manages requirements for GSOs. Contact them to find out what you need to do. Information about getting started is on the ADHA website.

If the IT organisation you work for needs a NASH PKI certificate you need to apply for it. Read more about how to request a NASH PKI organisation certificate.
