To apply for your Medicare provider number, you need a Provider Digital Access (PRODA) account to access Health Professional Online Services (HPOS).

You’ll be able to upload your qualifications and other supporting documents online.

Once submitted, you can view the status of your application in HPOS.

We’ll send you a HPOS message in your mailbox to let you know the outcome or if more documents are needed to complete your application.
