Nic is one of our many service officers around the country who provide digital coaching support.
Customers can meet with someone like Nic and not only learn how to find the right information, but also become confident using our online services.
Nic can show people how to set up and use their online accounts, and do other online tasks like apply for a payment, report income or upload documents.
‘We don’t just link people to our online services. We empower them by showing them how to use them themselves,’ Nic said.
‘This gives them more options than feeling like they have to come into a service centre every time.
‘It enables them to self-manage their business with us, and makes our services available to them 24/7.’
Nic said this service was especially helpful to customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
‘While many people have smart devices, not everyone knows how to use all their features,’ Nic said.
‘For these people, I was able to help them download their COVID-19 vaccination certificate, as well as show them how to access it.’
More recently, Nic and our other service officers have been helping people install and set up the myGov app on their devices.
‘Whatever support customers need, we will always be here to help.’
