From 1 October, one of the options in the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Vaccine Type field changed from “NIP/ Commonwealth” to “NIP”.
Select the “NIP” field option when recording a NIP- funded vaccine. This change doesn’t affect vaccine eligibility, reporting requirements or historical vaccination records.
