If you’re a registered nurse with Ahpra endorsement to prescribe, you are eligible to apply for a PBS prescriber number as an authorised nurse prescriber.
You’ll also need to have a nurse prescriber agreement in place with at least one PBS prescriber. It can’t be an authorised nurse prescriber.
Authorised nurse prescribers will be able to prescribe PBS medicines listed for their prescriber type in the PBS Schedule.
