Digital stream in the National Graduate Program

If you have a digital degree and want a career in ICT, we want you.

If you have any of the following degrees, you can apply to both the digital and generalist streams. If you’re assessed as suitable for both streams, we’ll try to match you to the digital stream first.

Once you start, you’ll stay in the digital stream for the duration of the program.

Type of degree

We’re looking for graduates with degrees in any the following subjects:

  • bio informatics
  • business analysis
  • business informatics
  • business modelling
  • computer science
  • cyber security
  • design prototypes.

We’re also looking for graduates with a degree in any of these subjects and related areas:

  • engineering or network engineering
  • information and communication technology
  • machine learning
  • mathematics
  • programming
  • project and program management
  • sciences
  • software engineering
  • web design.

Range of work

In the digital stream you may work on a range of projects and tasks, such as:

  • building innovative solutions to deliver easy to use digital government services that Australians trust
  • implementing cyber security to keep our systems safe
  • ensuring infrastructure and software is up to date and secure, in one of the largest in-house ICT operations in the southern hemisphere
  • developing, solving and supporting an ecosystem of digital platforms, systems and services with a wide range of applications and software.
