You can help community members come off the Cashless Debit Card (CDC)

4 October 2022

You can help your community members end their CDC participation now, if that’s what they want to do.

Cashless Debit Card program is ending.

You can help your community members end their CDC participation if they live in:

  • Bundaberg and Hervey Bay regions, in Queensland
  • Ceduna and the surrounding region in South Australia
  • East Kimberley and Goldfields regions in Western Australia.

Customers who live in the Cape York and Doomadgee region of Queensland or the Northern Territory don’t need to do anything. We’ll send them a letter, telling them when the CDC is ending and what happens next.

We are providing a wide range of support options for CDC participants during this transition. Read more about resources for supporting your community.
