We’re here to help older Australians experiencing family and domestic violence.

Abuse of older Australians, also known as elder abuse, is a form of family and domestic violence. Elder abuse is any act which causes harm to an older person and is carried out by someone they know and trust.

The abuse may be:

  • physical

  • psychological
  • sexual
  • mistreatment and neglect.

If you think you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, you can get help through our services and community organisations.
