We’re getting ready to balance your Child Care Subsidy

15 August 2022

From mid-August, we’ll start balancing Child Care Subsidy (CCS) payments to make sure we paid the right amount.

What you need to do

You need to confirm your income for the 2021-22 financial year.

To do this, most people need to lodge a tax return.

If you or your partner don’t need to lodge a tax return, then you need to let us know and confirm your income online.

What we will do

We will start balancing your CCS once we have everything we need. This includes:

  • your confirmed income
  • your partner’s or ex-partner’s confirmed income, if you had one during the financial year
  • your child’s attendance information from your child care service.

If you have any concerns about confirming your ex-partners income, please phone our Families line.
