We need to know how much income you received in the 2021-22 financial year. This is so we can check your FTB payments are correct.

If you don't tell us how much you received, we can’t check that you got the right amount. If this happens, we’ll ask you to repay the FTB you got in 2021-22 and your fortnightly FTB payments may reduce to zero.

To tell us your income you need to lodge your tax return. If you have a partner, they also need to lodge their tax return.

If you or your partner don't need to lodge a tax return, you need to tell us this. You can advise non-lodgement of tax return using either your:

• Centrelink online account through myGov
• Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
