Support for Ukraine nationals in Australia

13 April 2022

If you’ve been affected by the conflict in Ukraine, we can help you while you’re in Australia.

If you hold a Temporary Humanitarian Concern visa subclass 786, we can help you. You can:

  • apply for some payments, including Special Benefit and Family Tax Benefit, without having to serve a waiting period
  • see a doctor, get medicine and access mental health care once you’re enrolled in Medicare.

To find out what payments you might be eligible for and to apply, call our Centrelink multilingual phone service. We can also provide an interpreter.
