Services Australia will relocate the Broadmeadows Service Centre to Coolaroo in late 2023

Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the new location will better serve the increasing population in the northern suburbs while maintaining face-to-face services for Hume City residents.

“There’s been a significant reduction in foot traffic at the Broadmeadows Service Centre between 2017 and 2022,” Mr Jongen said.

“Services Australia’s priority is to provide customers with a service centre network that makes accessing our services simple so they can get on with their lives.

“By relocating the service centre 5 km from Broadmeadows to Coolaroo, the agency will also be able to better service the Craigieburn and Roxburgh Park area.”

Mr Jongen said the new service centre in Coolaroo will be an open and welcoming space, offering customers an improved service experience.

“Customers will be able to book an appointment with a service officer at a time that suits them, access digital coaching appointments to learn more about digital services and provide real time feedback on their experience,” Mr Jongen said.

“There’s also plenty of parking at the Coolaroo site and people travelling from Craigieburn and Roxburgh Park to Coolaroo via bus will save approximately 25 minutes compared to travelling to Broadmeadows.”

Services Australia specialist staff will continue to visit community agencies in Broadmeadows to provide outreach support for vulnerable customers.

The Coolaroo Service Centre will open in late 2023 at 1640 Pascoe Vale Road and will be open Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
