From 20 September, you may notice an increase in the amount of Rent Assistance you get.
We’re increasing the maximum Rent Assistance rate to help with the higher cost of living. This is in line with the Consumer Price Index.
You don’t need to do anything. How much you’ll get depends on your personal circumstances and the amount of rent you pay.
