From 9 September 2022, isolation or caring periods for some people reduced from 7 to 5 days.
If you’re a worker in a high risk workplace your isolation period will stay as 7 days.
If you need to claim Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment for an isolation or caring period starting before 9 September, you’ll be covered by the previous rules.
The previous rules also apply if your isolation or caring period, that started before 9 September, is extended.
You have 14 days from the start of your isolation or caring period to claim Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment.
