How to register your seed and network organisations in the HI Service and My Health Record.

If you’ve already registered your organisation in HI Service, you will need to follow instructions for registering your organisation in the My Health Record only.

You can register your organisation in the HI Service and My Health Record using the online form in HPOS. To use the form you need to have:

To register:

  • log on to your PRODA account and select Go to Service on the HPOS tile

  • complete the fields in each tab
  • check your details on the confirmation screen and update any details if they’re incorrect
  • select I agree at the bottom of the screen

We’ll send a notification to your HPOS Messages once we process your application.

Register your organisation in My Health Record only

You can only register a seed or network organisation and set access flags if you’re either:

  • the responsible owner (RO) of the organisation or the parent organisation
  • the Organisation Maintenance Officer (OMO) of the organisation or the parent organisation.

Access flags allows an organisation to access the My Health Record. You can’t change Seed organisation access flags, as they’re automatically set to Yes. You can however change Network organisation Access flags.

A No access flag gives the network organisation the same access as the parent organisation.

A Yes access flag gives the network organisation access to the My Health Record, even if the parent organisation doesn’t.

To register your organisation in the My Health Record and set access flags:

  • select My Health Record system – Organisation registration from the main menu
  • select Healthcare Organisation Registration
  • select the organisation you would like to register from the list displayed
  • select Register organisation on the Healthcare Provider Organisation Registration page
  • check the box next to the organisations you want to register
  • choose the access flag you want from the drop down box for each network organisation being registered and Save the changes
  • check the checkbox for the participation agreement on the My Health Record System – Registration Confirmation page and select Register.

Your nominated organisation is now registered in the My Health Record system.
