Letting us know if things change

You must let us know if circumstances change after we’ve made a payment to an applicant.

Notify us within 28 days if any of the following circumstances arise, the:

  • applicant recovers an amount paid from a third party, that relates to the amount paid to the applicant
  • judgment or order becomes subject to an appeal and/or stay
  • applicant withdraws support for the member or policy holder, or amount paid is later found to be not payable under the requirements of the schemes.

If you identify an amount to be refunded, please fill out the Medical Indemnity refund application form and send it to us by post or email.
