We’ve updated our family and domestic violence eLearning package
23 October 2020
The eLearning has been developed for health professionals to connect patients to the support services they need.
We all have a role to play to stop domestic violence. As a health professional, you see a diverse range of patients who could have family and domestic violence concerns. Our eLearning package will provide you with information to help you connect your patients to relevant support options. This is very important for those who may be at risk of, or affected by family and domestic violence.
We’ve updated the package to help you support your patients with:
- what is family and domestic violence
- visual and conversational indicators
- Services Australia support options
- other organisations who can help.
We have also recently launched our Family and Domestic Violence Strategy 2020-2023. It outlines our commitment to support people affected by family and domestic violence. You can find a link to our strategy in the training package.
You can access this eLearning package through the Health Professional Education Resources Gateway.
