Important information if you use Medicare Online and ECLIPSE

From 13 March 2022, you’ll need web services compatible software and a PRODA organisation account to access Medicare Online and ECLIPSE.

The way you submit claims and transmit data to us is changing. From 13 March 2022, you’ll need web services ready software to access Medicare Online and ECLIPSE.

If you’re using a PKI site certificate to authenticate to Medicare Online (including DVA and AIR) or ECLIPSE, you may need to register your organisation in PRODA.

You won’t need to register your organisation in PRODA if your software developer will authenticate for you.

Contact your software developer

Check with your software developer:

  • when they’ll have your web services compatible software available
  • if you need to register your organisation in PRODA.

If your organisation needs to be registered in PRODA, you can do this while waiting for your software to become available.
