Income Compliance Program refunds resources for community groups
Resources to help you share information about debt repayment refunds.
From July, we’re reducing certain debts to zero and refunding any repayments made to these debts. This is if we raised someone’s debt using averaging of Australian Taxation Office (ATO) income information.
We know community groups play a big role in helping people do business with us. This is why we’ve created a range of resources to help you help your community members. These explain who may be eligible for a refund of their debt repayments and what they need to do.
You can download our Income Compliance Program refunds eKit. Use it to explain the refunding process for eligible debt repayments.
