The way you use online business services is changing

Business Hub is our new secure online portal that will replace Centrelink Business Online Services (CBOS).

From December 2019, you can use Business Hub to:

Over the next few months we’ll email you with instructions on how to access Business Hub. We’ll also send your business a letter about the change.

We’ll notify you and your business that you can start using Business Hub when it’s available for CBOS and AUSkey.

To use Business Hub in December you should register early for a Provider Digital Access (PRODA) individual account. You’ll need this PRODA account to get access to the Business Hub service.

Once you have a PRODA account you can link it to your current CBOS user ID. This will avoid delays in accessing the online services when they become available in Business Hub.

Steps to register for a PRODA account and link Business Hub

Step 1

Read more about PRODA and register for it.

You’ll need to give at least 3 specified and valid Australian Government issued identity documents. This includes a driver’s licence, passport or Medicare Card.

If you already have a PRODA individual account, you don’t need to register again.

Step 2

Once you register and verify your PRODA account, you’ll need to link it to your CBOS account. Log in to your CBOS account as normal.

Step 3

Select Register for Business Hub from your CBOS home page to link CBOS to your PRODA account.

Step 4

Follow the instructions to link your existing CBOS account to your PRODA individual account. To do this, you’ll need your Registration Authority (RA) number. We’ll email this to you as part of your PRODA registration.

AUSkey users

If you use an AUSkey to access CBOS, you’ll also need to register for a PRODA individual account to start using Business Hub. AUSkeys will stop working from March 2020.
