ATO JobKeeper payment for businesses impacted by COVID-19

Find out if your business is eligible for the ATO’s JobKeeper payment.
You need to participate and enrol in the scheme for JobKeeper payment on the ATO website. There’s details for if you do or don’t have employees.
You should follow the suite of JobKeeper guides, on the ATO website.
If you’re eligible, you’ll need to do both of these:
- let your employees know the ATO has deemed your business eligible for JobKeeper payment
- pay your eligible employees a minimum of $1,500 a fortnight before tax.
You or your employees don’t need to call or visit us.
The ATO will make the first payment at the beginning of May.
It’s ok if your employees have already applied for JobSeeker Payment. But they need to tell us if they start getting JobKeeper payment from you. This may mean they’re no longer eligible to get an income support payment such as JobSeeker Payment.
Register for the JobKeeper payment on the ATO website.
