The new site at 89 Bay Terrace is approximately 500 m away from the old one, offers plenty of onsite parking and is easily accessible by public transport.
Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the contemporary layout and upgraded facilities of the relocated service centre are designed around people’s needs and circumstances.
“This new state-of-the-art office offers many options to make accessing services and payments easier than ever,” Mr Jongen said.
“People who like to talk to a staff member face-to-face can now skip the waiting queue and book an appointment at a time that works for them.
“And those who like to know more about accessing our services online can book digital coaching sessions onsite and get extra support with their myGov or Centrelink online accounts.
“These sessions are free and tailored to individual needs, so that people can build confidence in using their online accounts and get on with their day.”
The Wynnum Service Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
