The state-of-the-art office building, home to the new Robina Service Centre, also houses Services Australia corporate staff from 3 sites on the Gold Coast.
Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the new office had a contemporary layout and upgraded facilities to make it easier for locals to access support, payments and services. “The new service centre has been designed with customers’ needs front of mind and offers a range of face-to-face services as well as modern digital facilities,” Mr Jongen said
“The new service centre offers booked appointments for Centrelink customers who like certainty around the time they can speak with a staff member face-to-face or over the phone. They can call their regular payment line or ask a staff member to book an appointment at the Robina Service Centre.
“Digital coaching sessions are also available for customers needing extra support to access online services. Customers can book in for a session by calling their regular payment line or by asking a staff member to book them in.
“During these digital coaching sessions, staff can help people create a myGov account and also download and set up the myGov app on their mobile device. Staff can still help even if customers don’t have their own digital device.
“This support will build customers’ confidence and empower them to use online services to access services at a time and place that suits them. I encourage people to take these sessions up. They’re offered at no cost and our staff can help people with their specific needs or interests.”
The new service centre, at 198 Robina Town Centre Drive, is close to Robina Shopping Centre. It’s within walking distance to public transport and there is ample parking.
It is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
