Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the new service centre was just 750m from the former Pittwater Road office, and had a fresh and contemporary layout.
“Our customers will benefit from upgraded facilities, which make it easier for them to access the Centrelink and Medicare services they need,” Mr Jongen said.
“Centrelink customers who like certainty around the time they can speak with a staff member face-to-face or over the phone now have the option to call their regular payment line to book an appointment.
“Digital coaching is also available for Medicare and Centrelink customers who are looking for extra support to access our online services. Customers can arrange a coaching session by calling their regular payment line or service centre staff can book them in.”
The new service centre is in a convenient location, with customers able to take advantage of ample free parking, a bus stop outside the mall, and the Manly wharf a short walk away.
Brookvale Service Centre is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
