Centrelink and Medicare customers in Joondalup can now access services from a contemporary new Services Australia service centre.

The new service centre is conveniently located at 11 Boas Avenue and replaces the previous centre at 68 Reid Promenade.

Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the new service centre was designed with the customer’s needs front of mind and offered ample parking and easy access to public transport.

“The new centre offers a contemporary layout and upgraded facilities, making it easier for customers to access the services they need,” Mr Jongen said.

“It offers a seamless experience that includes digital coaching sessions for Centrelink customers who are looking for extra support to access our online services.

“During these digital coaching sessions, staff can help people create a myGov account and also download and set up the myGov app on their mobile device. Staff can still help even if customers don’t have their own digital device.

“This support will build customers’ confidence and empower them to use online services to access services at a time and place that suits them. I encourage people to take these sessions up. They’re offered at no cost and our staff can help people with their specific needs or interests.

“Customers can book these sessions by calling their Centrelink payment line or in a service centre. Customers can also book to see or speak with a staff member at the Joondalup Service Centre by calling their regular payment line.”

The new service centre at 11 Boas Avenue is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
