The Mount Gambier community can now access Centrelink and Medicare services in the newly relocated Services Australia service centre.

Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the local community will benefit from the new state-of-the-art service centre that’s been designed with the customers’ needs front of mind.

“We’ve tailored our services to better meet people’s circumstances,” Mr Jongen said.

“Residents can continue to access booked appointments for Centrelink services, access digital coaching for help using digital services and provide real time feedback on their experience.”

In addition to Centrelink and Medicare services, the National Disability Insurance Agency will also relocate to the new James Street site.

The new Mount Gambier Service Centre is centrally located at 30 James Street with free and paid customer parking nearby and is also close to public transport.

The Mount Gambier Service Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
