Meeting the income test

To get Dad and Partner Pay you must meet an income test.

To get Dad and Partner Pay you must have an individual adjusted taxable income of either:

  • $150,000 or less in the 2019-20 financial year
  • $151,350 or less in the 2020-21 financial year
  • $156,647 or less in the 2021-22 financial year.

We’ll look at your income from the financial year before either:

  • the date your Dad and Partner Pay period starts
  • the date you lodge your claim.

We’ll use whichever date is earlier.
