It’s time to confirm your 2021-2022 family income

7 February 2023

Remember to confirm your family income if you got Family Tax Benefit (FTB) or Child Care Subsidy (CCS) in 2021-22.

If you got FTB or CCS in the 2021-22 financial year, you need to confirm your family income now so we can balance your payments.

To do this, you need to lodge your tax return or let us know that you don’t need to lodge one. If you had a partner in 2021-22, they’ll also need to lodge their tax return or you need to let us know if they aren’t lodging one.

If you don't confirm your family income by 30 June, you may miss out on top ups and supplements. Your payments may stop and you may have to repay the amount you got during the financial year.

If you and your partner have already lodged a 2021-22 tax return with the Australian Taxation Office, they'll send us your details. There's nothing else you need to do.

You also have until 30 June to claim FTB by lump sum for the 2021-22 financial year.
