It’s not too late to claim for the Assistance for Isolated Children Scheme

Published: 8 February 2024

The Assistance for Isolated Children (AIC) Scheme can help if you’re the parent or carer for a child who can’t go to a local state school.

You can claim now for both the 2023 and 2024 school years.

If you’re claiming for the 2023 school year, you’ll need to submit your claim by 1 March 2024.

We’ll backdate your 2023 payment to when you first became eligible.

Your child must meet AIC Scheme eligibility requirements to make a claim.

To find out about your child’s eligibility and how to apply, read more here about the AIC Scheme.
