Carer Payment

You transferred to Carer Payment because on 19 March 2020 you were living in Australia and getting both of these:

  • Wife Pension
  • Carer Allowance.

There’s no change to your payment amount and you’ll keep getting Carer Allowance.

Age Pension

You transferred to Age Pension because on 19 March 2020 you were living in Australia and all these applied:

  • you were Age Pension age
  • you were getting Wife Pension
  • you weren’t getting Carer Allowance.

There’s no change to your payment amount.

JobSeeker Payment

You transferred to JobSeeker Payment because on 19 March 2020 you were living in Australia and all of these applied:

  • you were getting Wife Pension
  • you were under Age Pension age
  • you weren’t getting Carer Allowance.

There’s no change to your payment amount. If you have mutual obligation requirements we’ve waived them for 6 weeks. This is in response to COVID-19.

What you need to tell us

If you were travelling outside Australia temporarily on 20 March 2020, it may have affected your eligibility for some payments. Let us know so we can make sure you’re on the right payment.
