Changes to your circumstances you need to tell us about for your Tertiary Access Payment claim.
If you’re getting the payment from us
After you’ve submitted your claim, there may be changes to your circumstances that you need to tell us about.
Tell us if any of the following details change before your first instalment is paid:
- family home address
- study details such as the course, study load or duration
- your parents’ or guardians’ information.
After you get the first instalment and before you get the second instalment, your situation might change. You’ll only need to tell us if you have changes to your study. You can do this online. Read our online guide to updating your study details using your Centrelink online account through myGov.
If you’re getting the payment from a university
You need to tell us if your university is paying you the Tertiary Access Payment if you’re getting an Income Support Payment.
