Who can get it
You can get the Pharmaceutical Allowance if you meet certain conditions.
You may get it if you get any of the following payments:
- Parenting Payment single if you're younger than Age Pension age
- Disability Support Pension if you're younger than 21 with no dependent children.
You may also be eligible if you get certain payments and you meet certain conditions.
You may get Pharmaceutical Allowance if you have a temporary illness or medical condition.
You may get Pharmaceutical Allowance when you are 60 or older and get certain payments from us.
You’ll get the allowance with your regular payment each fortnight.
