Who can’t get it
Not everyone who lives in Victoria can get the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment.
You need to meet the eligibility rules.
You can’t get this payment if you need to stay home just because of the restrictions and therefore can’t work or earn income.
You won’t be eligible if, during your 14 day isolation, quarantine or caring period you get any of the following:
- any income, earnings or salary from paid work
- any income support payments, ABSTUDY Living Allowance, Parental Leave Pay or Dad and Partner Pay
- the Victorian Coronavirus (COVID-19) Worker Support Payment
- the COVID-19 Disaster Payment.
If you can’t get the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment, check to see what other payments you may be able to get. You can use our payment guide to check.
If you’re eligible we’ll pay you $1,500 for each 14 day period you self-isolate, quarantine or care for a person who has COVID-19.
