Who can’t get it
Not everyone who lives in New South Wales can get the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment.
To get this payment you need to meet the eligibility rules.
You won’t be eligible if, during your 14 day isolation period, you get or got:
- any income, earnings or salary from paid work
- any income support payments, ABSTUDY Living Allowance, Parental Leave Pay or Dad and Partner Pay
- the NSW Test and Isolate payment
- the COVID-19 Disaster Payment.
If you can’t get this payment, check to see what other payments you may be able to get. You can use our payment guide to check.
If you’re eligible we’ll pay you $1,500 for each 14 day period you’ve been told to self-isolate or quarantine, or are caring for someone with COVID-19.
