Renew your card
You can get a new BasicsCard if it’s lost, stolen damaged or expires.
Due to coronavirus (COVID-19), we’ll send your BasicsCard in the mail. You need to make sure we have your current address. Please call the BasicsCard general enquiries line.
You can still go to a service centre to get a new BasicsCard on the spot.
Lost, stolen or damaged card
If you lose your card or it’s stolen or damaged, you need to tell us. Call the BasicsCard general enquiries line. We’ll send a new card to you in the mail. Or you can go to a service centre to get a new one on the spot.
2020 expiry date
If you have a BasicsCard with an expiry of 06/2020 it won’t work from 30 June 2020. We’ll send you a new card in the mail.
Please check that we have your current address. If we don’t, call the BasicsCard general enquiries line to update it.
Once you get your new 2024 BasicsCard, call the BasicsCard general enquiries line to activate it. We’ll ask you to set up a new PIN when you activate it.
