Temporary Community Development Program changes in the Northern Territory

We’ve temporarily paused mutual obligation requirements for some participants in the Community Development Program.

We’re temporarily pausing mutual obligation requirements for some participants in the Community Development Program (CDP) living in the Northern Territory.

The pause period depends on which region of the Northern Territory you live in.

Central Arnhem Region
CDP provider: Jobfind Centres Australia Pty Ltd
16 November 2021 to 10 December 2021
Victoria River Region
CDP provider: Victoria Daly Regional Council
29 November 2021 to 14 December 2021
Far West Alice Region
CDP provider: Ngurratjuta-Pmara Ntjarra Aboriginal Corporation
29 November 2021 to 14 December 2021

During this period, no payment suspensions or financial penalties will apply if you don’t meet your mutual obligation requirements.

After the temporary suspension ends, you’ll need to meet your mutual obligation requirements.
